weeping cherry tree - Knowledgebase Question

bought a weeping cherry tree 20 years ago. a few years ago it started growing cherries! should I cut the top limbs off to stop this?

Sounds like you have a few stems of the tree growing above the weeping graft. It should be easy to tell because these limbs have a different growth/perfomance pattern, Go ahead and prune it off. Hope this helps!
