My lupine plants are done blooming for the year and the seeds have dried and I have saved them. How far back can I cut the adult plants, to make my garden look better?

You can cut lupines down to ground level when flowering is done. However, if you leave a few inches of greenery and cut off the flower stalks only, you may help your lupines send out a secondary bloom stalk. Good luck!
