If I spray round up in the morning when the birds are flitting through my garden, does the round up harm them? What if they eat a bug that inadvertantly got sprayed, would it harm them?

Good questions! The answer is maybe. Since Round Up is a vegetation killer I?m guessing you are directing the spray towards the ground and not up into the trees. The birds will avoid the sprayed area and the Round Up won?t bother them. Birds are pretty smart when it comes to feeding on insects. If the insect is not alive, they won?t eat them. They also seem to know when an insect is unhealthy and will avoid them, as well.
