I am planning a wedding for September 11, 1999. I am building an arbor, (to be married under), and would like to plant morning glories to grow over it. Are they good choice? Do you have any other suggestions? I really want something beautiful for the photos. |
Morning glories are beautiful flowers, but they won't be at their best in September. You will probably be happier with something like Clematis, Distictis (Red Trumpet Vine), or Evergreen Wisteria. These plants are just coming into their glory in late summer and early fall. Be sure to situate your arbor in a bright, sunny location, to encourage blooming of the vines. Happy gardening and happy marriage! |
