Hello, I think there is some insect eating the leaves on my basil plant. I haven't seen the bug, only the small holes and bites along the edges as a result. I am applying neam oil to see if that helps. Can you please give me any advise. Thank you.

Flea beetles leave the kind of damage that you describe. For some reason they especially like basil leaves and since the leaves are tender, one tiny bite can turn into a large hole. There's no chemical control registered for use on edible basil so your best defense is to check your plants daily and hose off any tiny flea beetles you see on the undersides of the leaves.
