I have poison ivy climbing a fence near some treasured blackberry bushes. How do I get rid of the ivy without hurting the blackberries?

It's a delicate situation but you can eradicate the poison ivy without harming your blackberries. Cut the vines at ground level and immediately paint the cut stubs with Round Up. The product will move down through the root system but will not translocate into the soil. Round Up breaks down in the presence of sunlight and fresh air and does not remain or move in the soil.
