I am trying to remove all of this type of grass (zoysia grass) completely and it keeps growing back. The roots are very deep and strong. I tried roundup and multiple other things and it just won't die out. Help me please.

Zoysia is very hardy stuff, indeed. It has fairly deep roots and spreads by stolons, so you've got to dig out each and every one to completely control it. If you can't dig the roots and stolons out of the beds, try using a fabric weed-barrier over the soil and cutting holes in it to plant your flowers. If all else fails, dig the area to expose the roots of the grass and then use an herbicide treatment. Wish I had better news, but Zoysia is extremely tough to get rid of. Good Luck!
