I just purchased an avocado tree, but forgot to inquire if I needed 2 for pollination...Will the 1 bear fruit? Also, I how long does it usually take for this to happen?

Your avocado tree does not need a companion tree in order to flower and set fruit. Most trees will begin to bear fruit at 5-7 years of age. Enjoy!
