planted 8 hydrangeas 2 years ago. endless summer. they are growing well but no blooms. In semi-shady areas.

Four hours of sunshine is minimum for hydrangeas to develop flowers. You may need to move your shrubs to a spot where they get direct morning sun but shade from the hot afternoon sunshine. I think you'll see a big difference in their performance.
