This tree is about 5 feet and the branches are now going straight instead of crooked. Do you know why
or what I can do to get them crooked? |

You can cut off the straight branches. They are probably coming from below the graft (swelling on the trunk) and they will never become crooked, even if you try weighing them down. Removing straight branches as soon as you recognize them will encourage the growth of new, crooked branches. Some plants produce more straight branches than others - pruning them off is the best approach. |
