How can I prevent chipmunks and sqirrels form eating my bulbs and other plants such as hostas geraniums?

Those pesky critters will dig up bulbs unless you cover over the soil with chicken wire or other barrier so they can't dig. You'll need to cage your plants with cylinders made of chicken wire or hardware cloth in order to protect them. Once the critters figure out they cannot access your bulbs or plants they will move on to another garden. Wish there were an easier solution!
