Why do the leaves turn yellow on young plants?

It's natural for the lowest, oldest leaves to yellow and die. Pinch or prune them off your plants and healthy new leaves will grow. Be careful with watering. If the soil remains too moist the entire plant can turn yellow. Good luck with your nasturtiums!
