White Lake, Mi
|Having recently moved back to Michigan during the winter I noticed these white bark trees (Birch?) and I'm wondering why they aren't very plentiful in many homes. Could you provide any info on the trees I made need to know? Thanks

|What you are seeing is Paper Birch or Canoe Birch or American White Birch, all common names for Betula papyrifera. It grows well in Michigan and I don't know why you don't see them in landscapes. Perhaps because they are so common and there are so many more interesting trees out there?
