Iris's and the Weigela bush - Knowledgebase Question

My iris are long done blooming when can i cut the foliage down so that my other plants can ge some sun..And my Weigela bush is also through blooming all for a few here and there when can i trim that too..THANK YOU

Both your irises and your weigela need their leaves to keep the roots healthy. You can prune off the flower stalks and faded flowers but you shouldn't cut the plants down until the end of the summer.
