I have a tree in my front yard I cannot identify. It has simple leaves that are oppisite of each other. In the spring it has 5-6 in. spikes with very small white flowers. It is growing very slowly. What do you think it is? |
I'd hate to even venture a guess (could it be Chionanthus virginicus, the fringe tree?) because there are so very many white flowering trees with opposite leaves. If you can take a picture of the tree and the flowers and post it on a photo hosting website such as Flickr and then send us a link to the photo we'll probably be able to identify it for you. Hope to hear from you soon. |
