white flowering dogwood - Knowledgebase Question

planted 2 young trees maybe 1ft. tall,3 months ago. did great at first then leaves turned brown starting at tip of leave, going about halfway back to stem, effected almost all leaves.too many 100 degree days or some kind of fungas? have since shaded them.

Sounds to me like sunscald. Now that you've provided shade, I think your trees will be okay. Dogwood trees are actually understory trees and really appreciate shade from hot summer sunshine. I think yours will be okay now that they are not getting intense sunshine. Enjoy your garden!
