my herbs (rosemary, basil, etc) are ready for harvest. How can I keep them green looking while drying? What is the best method for drying so i can use them later in the year?

You can dry them by laying them out on paper towels in a cool, dark place. Bright light and heat (rapid drying) are what can make the color change from vivid to pale. Or you can gather them up into little bundles, tie the stems together and hang them to dry. Enjoy your herbs.
