We have an irrigation system using water from Logan Martin Lake, Pell City Alabama. The lake water produces great looking vegatables. Is it safe to eat them? Thanks for your help.

I'd check with your local water quality board or cooperative extension office. While the water applied to the soil will naturally be filtered as it percolates down through the soil, I don't know if any water that gets on the foliage might contaminate it. Check with your county water quality board - they'll know whether or not there are any cautions associated with the lake water.
