|What makes the difference between an indoor pot and an outdoor pot. I ask because I saw a pot I really liked that had drain holes, but the tag says its for indoor use.

|If the tag says indoors the plant is probably not frost tolerant. You can grow an indoor plant outdoors in a shady spot as long as you protect it from cold weather. Just how cold depends upon the plant - most indoor plants are tropical in nature and won't like temperatures under about 40F. Hope this clarifies things for you.
