|Our back yard borders a neighbor with a large elm. Hundreds of small elms return each year to our yard by underground root system. We have poinsoned, dug and we need some hope of how to get them out for good.

|I wish there were an easy solution but as long as there are underground roots, they will send up suckers. There is a product called Sucker Stopper that may help but removing the roots and placing a barrier along the property line is really the only way to keep those sprouts from emerging. Sorry!
