Lily of the Valley roots? - Knowledgebase Question

Have just read what you have on these plants. I don't have bulbs. I'm not sure about pips. What I have is a mass of roots growing from a longer, fatter root. My husband planted them with part of the fat root showing. Is this right? Please help. Should we lift them and replant differently? Thank you.

Sounds just right the way you've planted them. Your second question had to do with toxicity and while these plants are poisonous if eaten, they won't taint your nearby strawberries or raspberries if planted nearby. Best wishes with your garden!
