How to get rid of Catapillars on Pine Trees - Knowledgebase Question

Our loblolly pine tree has greenish catapillars all over it.They are eating the pine needles down. How can we get rid of them before they destroy the tree?

You can use a product called Bt (bacillus thuringensis) which is sold as Dipel or Thuricide. It controls caterpillars without harming beneficial insects. Good luck with your pine!
