I planted a 4-in-1 cherry tree. Followed the planting instructions. The soil is wet , but not soaked to the point of over-watered. After about 2 months , the tree started getting japanese beetles. I used an insecticide powder (safe for fruit trees) , but it didn't help. Now the leaves are wilting. I have 3 other fruit trees that are not showing the same problem. What could be wrong?

Your tree might still be suffering from transplant shock and only time will help it establish. The beetle attack probably didn't help it either! I'd continue to water on a regular basis and just let the tree recover from the double whammy. As soon as the roots are well established it should perk up. Hope it's soon!
