I have some kind of vine growing all over my lawn & beds. It looks like ivey but the stem(vine part of the plant has tiny thorns-which are not noticable till you touch them. I have had people drive b & tell me that I am the 1st owner to do something with the lawn in over 5-6yrs or more.
I have not done yard work in over 35 yrs in southern calif & now I am in the sandhills of N.C.

I can't identify the vine without seeing so why not clip off a piece and take it into your local cooperative extension office for identification? Helpful folks there can tell you what it is and how to control it. Contact your extension office for hours and directions: (919) 989-5380
