Grapes - Knowledgebase Question

For the past 2 years I have had a great crop of grapes,again this year they are plentiful. My problem is before they turn red the birds and squirles abosolutely destroy them before I can get many good clusters. What can I do to avoid these pest/?

It's nearly impossible to keep critters and birds from raiding your grapes unless you place physical barriers around the clusters. You might try wrapping them with nylon pantyhose, paper bags, or something similar before the grapes begin to show color. As long as there is good air circulation between the wraps and the grapes, your harvest should be safe. Wish I had better solutions!
