I recently bought a hemerocallis plant at my local Home Depot. Upon researching it I can see that it does not belong to the lily family as far as I can tell. It is grown by Ivy Acres in NY. All it says is Hemerocallis. I need more info. |

Hemerocallis is the botanical name of the plant commonly known as the daylily. It is a member of the lily family but not a true lily. The flowers resemble lilies and are open for only one day, hence the name daylily. Hope this answers your question. |
