I had a beautiful Verbena basket now the leaves get white spots on top of the leaves and then turn brown then the leaf dies. Nothings washes or rubs off I have never seen this I need to stop it from spreading before the whole plant dies.

It sounds like a fungal disease. Picking off or clipping off the infected leaves as soon as you notice the spots will help stop the spread of the disease. You can use a fungicide to help control the disease. Banner or Daconil are two types but there are other garden fungicides available. Good luck with your verbena.
