apple tree and my roses - Knowledgebase Question

i got a apple tree that i had for a long long time and this year it going to well it got apple some real nice one.what do i do to take care of it.and all soi got a lot of roses.the man that helps me with them say dont cut off the old roses,but i think you do.that the way my mom and dad did it can you anwseer these for me. thank you gloria mc

All your apple tree needs is regular watering and you should be able to harvest your apples when they are ripe. You do need to cut off the dead roses to make your rose bush develop new flowers. Just cut off the stem when the flower is beginning to lose its petals.
