If I plant tulips now will they come up this year or should I wait until next fall to plant them?

Assuming that the bulbs are still in good condition, they can be planted. If they are soft or seem rotten, throw them away. If the soil is workable you might as well go ahead and plant them because it is doubtful that you will be able to store them successfully until planting time next fall. They may come up and bloom rather later than normal, but it is worth a try. Good luck with your tulips!
