|Because summer weather has arrived your new tree will be happier in the container until the weather cools in October or November. At that time you can plant it in the ground. Since it is in a container you'll want to place it where it gets a few hours of morning sun but shade from the sun from about 11 a.m. on. If you put it in full sunshine and it's in a container, the roots will bake. Don't transplant it into another container. Just leave it as is and water it daily (if necessary) to keep the soil from drying out. In October or November find a sunny site in your yard and plant it at the same soil level as it is growing in the pot. Water it well and it should establish and thrive. Best wishes with you rnew tree.
