Queen Creek, Ar
|I planted a waxleaf and this is the second one this summer-it won't thrive-it's not growing and seems to be drying out-I do water daily.

|The weather is really hot and that stresses plants out so planting in the summer months isn't the best time. Try planting again in October when the weather is cool. Water the plant deeply once each week all fall and winter long. In the spring it will have rooted well and will be prepared for the hot summer ahead. Once it is established in the ground it should be able to tolerate the summer heat.
