My baptista is gorgeous but overgrowing its area. Can i severely prune...and does removing seed pods help future flowers?

A happy plant can grow upwards of 3' tall and become almost shrub-like. You can prune yours back by half after it has finished flowering. It will grow again and send up new flower spikes later in the season. Enjoy!
