My wife plants box gardens every year. This year her tomato plant grew to be huge & it seems to have broken below soil line.We think it's dying. What do we do?
Please advise & thank you.

You can try staking the plant upright to see if it will heal over the wound. If not, the roots will probably send up new stems. I'd cage or stake all the tall and topheavy plants in the garden, just to make sure this doesn't happen again. Good luck with your tomatoes - and your other plants, too!
