I have four rather large crepe myrtles in my yard and they have black on the leaves. What should I use and how? |
The black can indicate a fungal disease or it might simply be sooty mold from insect feeding. Closely inspect it to see if it rubs off easily (sooty mold) or if the black affects the entire leaf. Microcop fungicide will work if it is a fungus; insecticidal soap will kill insects such as aphids. |
