I've noticed that many of the leaves on my Spanish lavender plant are yellowing. Some are turning brown at the ends. It's been an unusually hot summer, so I've been watering the lawn where they're planted frequently. Am I overwatering them? |
Could be. Lavender does not tolerate overwatering or wet roots and damage could show up as you describe. It's best to water lavender deeply, but as infrequently as possible. However, if they are in a lawn that's watered frequently, there's not much you can do. Some people plant lavender up on its own little "raised bed" which improves drainage somewhat. Good luck! |
