|after crape myrtle flowers die is that it 4 the season? do i cut back the whole clump of flowers connected 2 the branch or just the very tiny stems from the flowers also 2 get more branches 2 shoot out from a long 1-- by cutting it where will it help when trees are about 5yrs old can they be transplanted or will shock and die

|Crape myrtles flower on new growth. After the flowers fade, cut the stems and branches back by about 6 inches and it will develop new growth and flower again later in the summer. You can prune the branches back further if they are too long. Hope this answers your question.
