|I have once time blooming iris and I have reblooming iris. I want to cut them back 1/2 to tidy them up. Can I do that at this time or do I need to let them die back or in the reblooming ones..leave them to soak up the rays for reblooming. Thanks

|You can trim the leaves down by one half. The remaining leaves will be able to transport carbohydrates back into the roots and rhizomes for growth next year. I cut mine in a fan shape but you can certainly cut yours straight across. Whatever looks best in your garden. Enjoy your garden!
