laid bobsod sod yard last year, did great. overseeded w/ bobsod winter seed, again, did well. It came back somewhat, but it got browner and browner, even after we checked to be sure sprinklers were working. My husband did a last ditch effort and fertilized it, no idea what he used. It is now DEAD. What am I to do? Is this hopeless in getting my grass back? Thank you

It's possible the fertilizer burned the grass blades. It's always best to feed when the weather is cool and avoid feeding May through August when it's hot. Lots of water will help flood the fertilizer out of the soil and it may also prompt some new growth. Wish I had more suggestions!
