just to keep you up to date, we planted the butterfly bush in the large planter this week and we planted the purple leaf plum in the front yard to replace the damaged one that we had to cut down. keeping our fingers crossed!! thanks again

I'm happy to hear that! I think your new plants will thrive with the TLC you'll be giving them. Don't forget, though, that when they are newly planted they may suffer some transplant shock and they may wilt and look puny for a few weeks until the roots establish themselves in their new homes. Once they do, they'll perk up and look beautiful. Best wishes with your landscape.
