|My neighbor has a lot of what I believe are sumac trees - I call them garbage trees. I've gotten a lot of seedlings this year. The roots run very deep and I have to dig to get them out, but I'm not always successful. What can I use to kill them?

|If you paint Round Up on the stub after cutting off the sapling at ground level the Round Up will move down to the root and kill that part of the underground root. It's painstaking and time consuming but if you keep at it you'll eventually kill off the underground roots that are beneath the soil. Good luck with your project.
