Once established, your frangipani can tolerate drought, but if you have it in a container and the roots cannot venture out to find moisture, you'll need to water your plant on a regular basis. Allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings but don't allow the entire container to dry out - just the top of the soil. Best wishes with your plant.
