|I live north of NYC. My euphorbia plants were such a beautiful yellow in the spring. They are now very floppy & taking up lots of room. My friend who is a very good gardener says they can be cut to the ground now - is that true & is it safe?

|You can cut euphorbia down to remove the old foliage and encourage healthy new growth. I'd cut them almost down to ground level. You'll want some stems remaining so new growth will appear quickly. Trust your friend!
