Fungus in lawn - Knowledgebase Question

We received the fungus in replacement sod. Didn't know what it was for a year. Have been using fungicide religiously for 3 years. We have used both liquid and dry starting in early spring. Best case - the lawn improves 1/2 way and stays that way. Is there any way to get rid of the fungus. I could dig up the worst part of the lawn and replace it but wouldn't the fungus just come back?

Labeled fungicides such as Turfcide 10G and Hi-Yield Lawn Fungicide Granules with terrachlor or PCNB; Greenlight Fung-Away Systemic Granules with thiophanate-methyl, Ortho Lawn Disease Control and Ferti-lome Systemic Fungicide with propiconazole and Sprectracide Immunox with myclobutanil will help control the fungus but if you've already tried these things you may have to remove the sod along with the top few inches of soil and replace them. Wish there were an easier solution!
