When is the best time to dig and transplant little bushes.. like the spireas, that are about 3 ft by 3 ft? When is the earliest I can do that this fall? Thanks so much! Dorian |
Wait until after your spireas have finished blooming and then dig and move them. It's always less stressful for plants if they are moved during the cooler months of spring and fall but if you can't wait, go ahead and transplant them now. Expect some wilting until the roots establish themselves again in your garden. Good luck with the move. |
