|You can use a fish meal fertilizer which is roughly 10-4-0 or opt for a general purpose fertilizer such as a 12-4-8 or 16-4-8. All are high in nitrogen. You'll broadcast the granules over the ground beneath the canopy of the tree and then water it in. Once a year in the spring is all you will need to apply.
