Lots of things can cause brown spots, from dog urine to fungal diseases to places there the sprinklers miss or where soil is compacted and water can't penetrate. I'd just continue to give the lawn good care and check for grubs in August, when they typically are close to the soil surface and are actively feeding. If you find them you can treat with Grubex or another grub control products. Best wishes with your lawn.
