| I live south of Tucson and have a gorgeous Willow Acacia that is about 4 years old. It provides great shade but is very dirty. Is there anything that I can 'feed' or give this tree that may reduce the amt. of litter it continually drops? Thanks. |
| I really wish there were some easy way to keep your acacia from flowering and setting seed pods but there's not much you can do to stop the process without an annual application of a plant growth inhibitor. The timing has to be perfect and the product is usually not readily available to homeowners (and it can be expensive) so you might want to check with a local arborist to see what's available. An annual treatment will be necessary and it will only stop seed pod development, not the natural shedding of foliage. Wish there were an easier way! |
