|My grass was perfect until it rained yesterday. Now I have multiple large and small areas that have suddenly turned yellow. What happened?

|It's possible your soil isn't draining fast enough to suit the roots of the grass. If the roots sit in a puddle of water, which can drive out all the oxygen, the roots can suffocate - or nearly so. As soon as the soil drains the roots should perk up and the grass should green up again. You might want to consider aerating your lawn this fall to help the soil drain faster so you can avoid this problem in the future. Best wishes with your lawn.
