I got a shipment of four raspberry plants from an organic grower. Some of the leaves have small circular brown spots on them, especially the lower leaves. I have emailed the seller, but doubt if I will hear anything before Monday. Is it okay to plant these if I first remove the affected leaves. The plants look healthy otherwise.

Thank you for your time.

I'd go ahead and plant them. It's possible they were a little too damp during shipping and the spots are fungal leaf spots. Pulling them off the plant will remove any fungal spores from spreading. Healthy plants will develop new leaves to replace the ones you remove. Hope you hear from the shipper soon!
