|My african violets always have a few soggy leaves. How do I prevent this? I water from the bottom each week.

|It could be that your plant was overwatered at one time in its life and there is some crown rot. Not enough to bother the entire plant, but enough to affect some of the leaves. I'm glad you're watering from the bottom. Just be sure to allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings so the crown is not consistenly moist. I'd just cut off the affected leaves whenever they develop the symptoms. Good luck with your African violet.
